I've seen Harry Eng's knots called monkey fists, but they don't look like any I've seen.

hello Marky...
....i'm not sure but it looks like
a "double knife lanyard knot"...

 

....i triple it and make a little necklace
with it but i have to use a little ball bearing
as a core or else it collapses on itself....

If you make if from nylon "blind cord" (R & W Rope), you cna do it quite small and use a 10mm plastic bead (Martin's Crafts) as the core....

What size line is that shown?
